A classic expression say the eyes are the windows to the world. Apparently it is not excessive, given the latest research says homosexual can be known through the eyes.

The Way is through the eye pupil dilation. According to research, pupil dilation is an accurate indicator of sexual orientation. When people look at erotic images and sexually aroused, without realizing their pupil will open.

Live Science reported on Wednesday (08/08/2012), recent research suggests that pupil dilation is compatible with the reports of arousal.

To obtain conclusions, Savin-Williams and his colleagues recruited 165 men and women, including same-sex lovers, bisexual and normal people. They were asked to watch the video separately, each of which lasted one minute, about men and women masturbation and scene.

An eye tracker camera used to record the pupil when they watched the video. They were also asked to report arousal experience when viewing each video.

“So, if one says he’s straight, his eyes will widen to a woman. Conversely, if they like each other, their eyes would widen it to the man,” explained researcher and developmental psychologist at Cornell University, Ritch Savin-Williams.

According to him, pupil will be slightly wider when responding to an interest or specific stimuli, including the face lover or a beautiful artwork.
